In order to add a new plugin Gazebo programmers must change the .world file and restart Gazebo each time . Furthermore modifying source code, changing plugin parameters or attaching plugins to new models has the same effect. Since this is a rather tedious and time-consuming process and users are thereby distracted, they can not fulfill all tasks in one run. A new idea favoring an easy-to-use GUI and a simple plugin implementation concept should eliminate this procedure. Coupled with a number of additional innovative features this could lead to a behaviour that end-users easily view attached plugins on specific models, interact lightning-fast with various plugin types, e.g. GUI, visual and world plugins or modify plugin source code at runtime.
