Colibri – OBIX Connector

The OBIX Connector is intended to connect the OASIS OBIX platform to Colibris semantic interface. The Colibri smart energy management system will be able to subscribe to different resources in building automation systems behind an OBIX gateway. This enables the system to gather specific information from these resources. Therefore, the connector and its REST binding for OBIX will be implemented and packed into an independent OSGi bundle in the Colibri system. The connector will provide technology-independent and generic communication with building automation resources. It will also simplify the communication and interconnection between Colibri and high-level integration OBIX gateways as subsystems behind the OBIX gateways are hidden and encapsulated form the Colibri semantic interface.
