DVD Subtitles, CEA-708 completion and Example programs

Currently CCExtractor has support for DVD Closed Caption. New DVDs contain DVD subtitles instead of the older DVD Closed Captions. This project aims to provide support for newer standard used by DVD subtitles that are bitmap based containing image files.

CEA-708 is the standard for closed captioning for digital television streams in the United States and Canada. In the proposed project the implementation for CEA-708 subtitles is to be updated to cover all types of input and support little-used protocols/parts of the standard.

I aim to build programs to serve as examples for libraries that others can incorporate instead of using entire CCExtractor program.
