The package manager for the Lua programming language

LuaRocks is the package manager for the Lua programming language, providing a standard format for distributing Lua modules (in a self-contained format called a "rock"), a tool designed to easily manage the installation of rocks, and a server for distributing them. It supports Lua 5.x, LuaJIT and MoonScript. LuaRocks is used by several projects in the Lua community, such as the scientific computing framework Torch and the Tarantool database.
