CarbonFootprint is a great initiative to make people aware of their unnoticed contributions to the degradation of this planet. This initiative needs to be expanded to reach out to a much more wider audience. Thus creating an API for this project can help achieve this task. Modern smart devices can make use of this interface to create new possibilities and information which I think can surely benefit the planet in some way.
