Plone as a Progressive Web App

The objective is to develop an Ionic 2 app which in turn will be using Angular 2 that will implement the PWA behavior. It will retrieve the contents from the Plone site using the Plone REST API. Going ahead with Ionic 2 will give us code re usability, we will get apps for Android, IOS and Windows simultaneously. Ionic already has a lot of inbuilt UI components, i.e material design for android, so styling will be easier.
