EasyGnuPG Improvements

EasyGnuPG (aka EGPG) is a shell script that wraps GPG and tries to make it more accessible and easy to use. In order to simplify things, EGPG is opinionated about the "right" way of using GnuPG. Following improvements are proposed in this proposal:

  • Rewriting parts of EasyGnuPG so that it is built with Python and GPGME, replacing calls to gpg CLI.
