Extending NLP functionality for Germanic Languages

NLP is severely lacking in meaningful functionalities for Germanic languages. Normalization, POS tagging and stemming modules (all significant parts of modern NLP) seem to be absent from the core, rendering the use of the tool as part of significant research projects non-viable. The proposed progress aims to extend the current functionalities of the Germanic family.
