Gambit - Software Tools for Game Theory
Software for Analysis of Game Theory Models
Gambit is the premier software project for quantitative analysis in game theory. The project has a 22-year history of providing open-source tools for students, researchers, and practitioners who use game theory in economics, computer science, political science, and other fields.
The front end for Gambit is the "Game Theory Explorer" or GTE. It allows to create interactively, and then analyze, games as models of strategic interaction. In GTE, a game in extensive or strategic form is created and nicely displayed with a graphical user interface in a web browser. State-of-the-art algorithms then compute all Nash equilibria of the game after a mouse click, which are very difficult to compute manually.
