KStars Lite

Could Lord Rosse (William Parsons) that built the biggest telescope of the 19th century even imagine that more than he could observe can be now held in the pocket? And that is only one of the motivations for KStars Lite:

• Mobile/tablet version gives possibilities for outdoor observation sessions.
• Increase in number of users as smartphones and tablets are very widespread nowadays.
• Lite version can be also useful for owners of slow machines like budget netbooks, old PCs and single-board computers like Raspberry Pi.
• Lite version can become a starting point for KStars developers to port the whole project to QML/QtQuick.
