Greeklish-to-Greek: Development of an open-source and state-of-the-art toolkit Project Proposal

This project aims to create an open-source python toolkit that efficiently and accurately converts Greeklish text to Greek text. This will be possible by creating a wrapper module that performs inference to the model and then integrating it to the gr_nlp_toolkit pipeline. The second part of the project involves extending the research to determine whether the utilization of more recent LLMs offers a superior balance of accuracy and speed
